Hey, Chick

Did you hear?  the Hey, Chick Stamp Set is back in the 2021 Mini Catalog this year.  Good news, right? The even better news is that it now has coordinating Chick Dies!!!  Woohoo! Wait, if that wasn’t exciting enough, we now have a coordinating Birthday Chick Stamp Set which also comes with coordinating Birthday Chick Dies.  I am so very happy right now.  The coordinating chick dies will be available to all my customers beginning February 1, 2021. 

My project starts with an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4″.  I added a piece of the Playing With Patterns Designer Series Paper cut at 4-1/4″ X 5-1/2″ to the card front.  The chick images are stamped on a piece of 4″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Basic White Cardstock, with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I adhered the stamped chick images to a 4-1/8″ x 4-3/8″ piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock.

Birthday Chick

I used both the Hey, Chick, and Birthday Chick Stamp Sets on my project today.  I mean can you stand the cuteness?  I have the coordinating Chick Dies and Birthday Chick Dies, however, I didn’t use them on today’s project, but I know I am going to on some future projects I have planned for these adorable sets.

Stampin’ Blends

I used my Mango Melody, Old Olive, Calypso Coral, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Gray Granite, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, and Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends to color on my chicks.  

I also used the Painted Labels Petals Dies for a little decor underneath the stamped image and Stitched Rectangle Dies on the sentiment.  I used the Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set for the greeting.
