Welcome and thank you for stopping as you hop along with the monthly Luv 2 Stamp Group Blog Hop September 2022
Today we are hopping to Halloween. I used several elements here, let me explain and provide you measurements and details. This project came together so quickly.
Products I used today are Beauty of Friendship, Bottled Happiness Stamp Sets, Stylish Shapes Dies, Basic Black Cardstock, Shimmery White Cardstock, Positively Pink Cardstock, Gorgeous Grape Cardstock, Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, Blending Brushes, Small Black Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Paper Trimmer, Stamp Cut & Emboss Machine, Grid Paper, and the Basic Black Stampin’ Blends.
Let’s start with the measurements:
Gorgeous Grape Cardstock = 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 then score at 4-1/4″
Basic Black Cardstock = 4 x 5-1/4″
Shimmer White Cardstock = 3-3/4″ X 5″
Basic White Cardstock = 4″ x 5-1/4″ (for inside of card)
Positively Pink Cardstock = 1/2″ x 3-3/4″ for the sentiment
I hadn’t ordered any of the new Halloween stamp set, but new if I put my thinking cap on I could find something and make it work. I knew I wanted to use my Blending Brushes and Stampin’ Ink Pads to create a fun, spooky background. Next I pulled up my 2022 – 2023 Annual Catalog and looked at what stamps might work. Eureka!! I found two, Beauty of Friendship and Bottled Happiness Stamp Sets. I think the card turned out Halloweenish and not too spooky but certainly fun and feminine for my granddaughter. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.
I used Shimmery White Cardstock for my center panel and I love how it looks like I splattered with bling.
I used my Basic Blacking Blends to add some small birds to my project for a little bit of spook…. 🙂
I made a video (I am a visual learner and I thought some of you ought there might be too) for you to follow along when you create your own project!
I hoped you have enjoyed today’s project and will continue on the hop, please remember to leave a little comment on the artist blog :-), its fun to hear your thoughts.
